Additionally, many HOAs require an official survey before they’ll grant approval. In some cases, city or county officials may also ask for documentation during the permitting process.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect in some of the areas we serve:

  • City of Orlando: A fence permit is not required for most residential projects. Even so, you must still follow local zoning regulations, such as height limits and setback rules.

  • City of Longwood: Similarly, no permit is usually necessary for residential fencing. However, compliance with zoning codes remains mandatory.

  • Polk County: Fence permits are typically not needed, but local ordinances still apply and must be followed to avoid penalties.
